February's color of the month is purple. Not only do we get to celebrate the color purple, but we are also excited that we have made it through the whole rainbow! All the kids came to school in purple clothing...some that they made themselves! From a purple snack to perfectly purple art projects, it was a truly purplicious day!
100th Day of Kindergarten
Miss Christina's full day kindergarten class had an exciting day on Thursday! They celebrated their 100th day of Kindergarten! Not only is it a milestone to celebrate, it was also a great opportunity to focus on the number 100! All of the kids came to class with a shirt decorated with 100 things. From close pins to puff balls the kindergartners had a great time showing off their individual creations. Also, much of the class dressed up to look like a 100 year old person. This was such a fun day. Congratulations to all the kindergartners on all they have learned in their first 100 days of class!
Super Blue Friday
When you think of the Ark, you think of 2 by 2, but today were coming in 12 by 12! It is Super Blue Friday, and our NNA mini 12's are certainly supporting their favorite team! From a 12th man rally, to singing Seahawks themed songs we are getting geared up for the big game! We hope that everyone has a great Super Bowl Sunday and let's cheer the Hawks on to a RE-PETE Super Bowl victory!
